Why This Dish Is So Special
Cooking Secrets
- Use a thermometer to ensure wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
- Toss the wings in sauce while they’re hot to help the sauce stick better and soak in flavor.
Directions
Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and give it a light spray with cooking spray to keep the wings from sticking. In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, salt, and cayenne pepper. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them in the flour mixture until they’re nicely coated. Arrange the wings on the baking sheet and give them another quick spray with cooking spray. Pop them in the oven and bake for about 48 minutes without flipping, until they’re golden and cooked through. When they’re done, switch your oven to broil and broil the wings for around 5 minutes to get them extra crispy and browned. Finally, toss the hot wings in your favorite hot sauce until they’re evenly coated and ready to enjoy.
