This salad is a perfect blend of spicy, tangy, and creamy flavors that keep every bite exciting. It’s easy to prepare ahead and portable, making it great for lunches or quick dinners. Plus, the layers keep the ingredients fresh and crisp until you're ready to eat.

- Use cooked chicken that is shredded or diced evenly for better layering.
- Keep the dressing separate until serving to prevent the salad from getting soggy.
- Pack the jars tightly but not too full to avoid spilling when transporting.

Step 1

Mix the ranch dressing and hot sauce together in a small bowl. Spoon an equal amount of this spicy dressing into the bottom of five wide-mouthed, quart-sized glass jars to create the first layer. Next, add chopped celery and carrots on top, dividing them evenly between the jars.

Step 2

Layer about 3 ounces of cooked chicken over the veggies in each jar. Then, pile on about 2 cups of salad greens in every jar. Sprinkle a quarter cup of blue cheese over the greens to finish off the layers. Seal the jars and pop them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat.

Step 3

Before serving, divide the croutons into five small containers. When it’s time to enjoy, dump the contents of a jar and its croutons into a bowl, give everything a good toss, and dig in!
