Why This Recipe Is So Flavorful

These wings are packed with bold flavors that excite your taste buds. They are crispy on the outside and juicy inside, making them a perfect party snack. Everyone will love grabbing a handful and enjoying the savory, tangy sauce.

Kitchen Advice

- For extra crispy wings, pat them dry before seasoning and baking.
- Use a wire rack on your baking sheet to allow air to circulate around the wings.
- Toss the wings in sauce while still hot to help the glaze stick better.

Step 1

Heat your oven to 375°F and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Rinse the wings and pat them dry really well with paper towels. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or fryer until it reaches 375°F. Fry the wings in small batches—about 5 or 6 at a time—until they’re partially cooked, which usually takes around 10 minutes. Drain them on paper towels and let them cool down a bit.

Step 2

Once they’ve cooled, pop the wings back into the hot oil and fry them again until they turn a beautiful golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain off the excess oil on fresh paper towels. Toss the wings in a big bowl with your hot wing sauce, making sure each one is nicely coated. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and brush on any leftover sauce.

Step 3

Slide the wings into the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until the sauce has mostly dried on the surface. Serve them up with some crunchy carrot and celery sticks, plus a bowl of blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!

Simple Serving Suggestions

Serve these wings with crunchy celery sticks and a side of creamy ranch or blue cheese dressing. They also go well with a fresh green salad or some crunchy coleslaw to balance the richness.

How To Save Leftovers

Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the oven or air fryer to keep the skin crispy instead of microwaving, which can make them soggy.
